Project Overview:
The 8-inch Jhang gas transmission pipeline project in Pakistan was implemented to enhance the country’s energy infrastructure and ensure reliable gas supply across various regions.
The pipeline, stretching 31  kilometers in length, was executed under a Construction (C) contract model.
Execution Activities:
– Route surveying and trench excavation
– Pipe transportation and stringing
– Pipe bending and welding
– Radiographic inspection and coating
– Pipeline laying and backfilling
– Obstacle crossing and station facility construction
– Installation of cathodic protection, testing, and commissioning
Facilities and Installations:
– One intermediate block valve station
– One pig launcher station
– One pig receiver station
– Two valve and branch stations
– One cathodic protection station
